Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and night shift availability.

Job Details

• Located in the NICU of a 595-bed comprehensive hospital, within a Women's Medical Center housing a Level III NICU,
• 32-bed unit caring for neonatal patients,
• Patient ratio of 3:1,
• Charting via Cerner EMR,
• 13-week contract,
• Night shift: 3x12, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM,
• Every other weekend required,
• No on-call requirements,
• Floating within scope of practice is required, including to facilities within a 25-mile radius if needed,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration,
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required (AHA accepted only; American Red Cross certifications are not accepted),
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required,
• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• The facility is a Joint Commission-accredited hospital that holds Advanced Certification in Perinatal Care,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• Only natural nails are permitted - gel, acrylic, or embellished nails are not allowed,
