Medicaid Eligibility Advocate

Working full-time in a remote capacity, the Medicaid Eligibility Advocate will conduct eligibility screenings, assess patient financial requirements, and counsel patients on insurance benefits and co-payments while serving as a liaison among patients, hospitals, and governmental agencies. Key responsibilities Screen and evaluate patients for insurance coverage and assistance programs Obtain necessary documentation for eligibility determination and ensure accurate data entry Initiate and maintain follow-up with patients and government agencies for timely application processing Required qualifications Associate's degree preferred Minimum one-year related experience preferred, preferably in healthcare Relevant education may substitute for experience requirement
