Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in BANNING, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government court services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and support an orderly environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout court facilities, public areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor flow in accordance with post orders, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized site representatives. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
