Unit Details Unit Description
• Experience in sterile processing of year or greater
• Understanding of Sterile Technique
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Physical ability to lift 30lbs and stand for sustained periods of time
• Team oriented and collaborative worker
• CRCST certification preferred.

Job Summary:
Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Preparation of instrument sets, trays, individually wrapped instruments, etc. Must be conscientious with regard to procedures, capable of working under pressure, and professional in interactions with co-workers and other departments within the hospital. Open to feedback and able to master job duties. Processing endoscopes and instrumentation. Documentation for Sterilizers, Biologicals, AER processes, ultrasonic processes, humidity, temperatures in all areas must be maintained and in order for regulatory purposes. xywuqvp Keeps department supplies stocked according to PAR levels and Inventory.
