We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead a highly regarded boutique dining and hospitality concept in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This established full-service venue features a vibrant bar program, exceptional guest experiences, and strong community engagement, while maintaining a business model that is not dependent on late-night operations.

Position Overview

The Restaurant General Manager will have full responsibility for all day-to-day operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development. This leader will oversee a management team of five, including front-of-house managers and kitchen management professionals. Candidates should possess Virginia Beach seasonal market knowledge and a proven history leading $4M+ full-service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all restaurant operations with a focus on guest experience, profitability, and team leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five managers, including Kitchen Managers
• Drive sales growth and maintain operational excellence in a full-service environment
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, labor controls, inventory, and P&L accountability
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain high-performing teams
• Navigate seasonal fluctuations unique to the Virginia Beach market

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant
• Experience managing $4M+ annual sales volume
• Strong Virginia Beach seasonal market knowledge
• Experience leading multiple managers across BOH and FOH
• Strong financial acumen and team development skills
• Passion for hospitality and mentoring future leaders
