Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting platform development and embedded system integration. Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer Location: Palo Alto, CA What's the Job? Drive AMD Versal SoC bring-up for the iRDK platform, focusing on programmable logic (PL) integration and inter-processor communication (IPC) with the AMD APU. Develop and validate PL integration, including IP instantiation, configuration, and AXI interfaces. Implement and validate IPC mechanisms between Versal AI Core / RPU and AMD APU, utilizing protocols such as RPMsg, OpenAMP, and shared memory. Develop BSP and drivers for Versal PS subsystems, including RPU and APU partitions. Collaborate with semiconductor manufacturing teams to resolve platform-related issues and optimize performance. What's Needed? Extensive experience with MediaTek chipsets and embedded platform development. Proficiency in board bring-up, BSP development, and device driver development. Strong understanding of bootloader sequences and configuration. Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing teams and handling chipset challenges.
