Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time

Role Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for assisting in the coordination and delivery of nursing services within a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities Assist in directing nursing services for a unit or hall, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and delegate duties to nursing staff. Monitor patients for symptoms or reactions, including physical and mental conditions that may indicate adverse changes. Notify physicians of emergencies or patient deaths and implement orders as instructed. Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid LPN license from the licensing board, with proof of renewal every other year. Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage. Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow physician orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
