This role is an essential member of the care team, performing both clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Training Program ⚕️ No experience? No problem! Mercy provides a 175-hour, Department of Health and Senior Services-approved training program , completed during new hire orientation (must be finished within 90 days). Our PCA training is also an accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program , offering valuable hands-on experience and credentials. Requirements: - BLS certification within 1 month of hire - PCA competencies completed within 3 months ✅ Qualifications: Education: - High School Diploma or G.E.D - CNA/CPTC or - Enrolled in a healthcare career program (including high school programs) - Mercy co-workers encouraged to apply Experience: None required Preferred Certification: - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Physical Requirements - Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly - Prolonged standing and walking - Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, grip, and squat A Culture That Cares At Mercy, compassion and professionalism go hand in hand.
