Labor and Delivery Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday rotation may apply.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide compassionate care to women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Cerner and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in maternal-fetal care.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
Provide education and support to families during the childbirth process.
Document all patient interactions and care provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI: BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP.
No hits on state license to practice.
Valid driver's license to verify residency.
Travel experience is highly preferred.
