Elementary Special Education Teacher

The School District of Wabeno Area has an opening for an Elementary Special Education Teacher . The ideal candidate will hold a Wisconsin 4K-5 Special Education license and will be assigned to the elementary school. Candidates with another special education licensure are encouraged to apply; however, a willingness to obtain a Cross-Categorical license is preferred.

Wabeno is a recreational community offering year-round opportunities for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, skiing, swimming, camping, and hiking. The rural area features beautiful rolling hills and abundant wildlife. The School District of Wabeno Area serves approximately 395 students in grades 4K-12 across two school buildings. The district includes students from Wabeno, Carter, Lakewood, Townsend, Freedom, and surrounding townships.
