Radiation Therapist$7,500.00 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment for eligible candidatesDaylight hours with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirementsRadiation Oncology has 2 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators, BrainLab Dynamic, an Elekta Flexitron HDR Afterloader, and a Siemens Biograph PET/CT Treatment options include 3D, IMRT/VMAT, SBRT, SRS/SRT, SGRT, HDR, and LDR seed implantsGeneral Overview:Delivers therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by physician.Essential Responsibilities:Performs patient simulations. (20%)Delivers prescribed radiation treatment. (50%)Assesses, supports, and educates patients according to specific department guidelines. (10%)Maintains medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines. (15%)Performs other duties as assigned or required including, but not limited to, mentoring employees/students and participating in department and organizational initiatives.
