About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Rules and Standards Associate I to support compliance activities within a major energy utility. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, reliability standards, and critical infrastructure protection.

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing compliance documentation for regulatory filings, including self-certifications and audit evidence packages
• Review operational logs and technical data to confirm adherence to reliability and security standards
• Maintain compliance tracking tools and organize evidence repositories for audits
• Support internal audits by gathering and validating documentation against regulatory checklists
• Monitor updates to reliability and security standards and communicate changes to team members
• Participate in compliance training focused on technical rules and security requirements
• Follow standard operating procedures for evidence collection and reporting
• Escalate potential compliance gaps to senior staff for resolution

What We're Looking For

• A team player who works well in collaborative settings
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Plus: Experience with Power BI or Smartsheets
• Experience with ArcGIS
• 4-year degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered
