Carry-out/Retail Associate

We’re looking for a friendly, organized Carry-Out/Retail Associate to join our fast-paced restaurant. This role is all about accuracy, speed, and great customer service. You’ll be responsible for handling takeout orders from start to finish while also providing excellent customer service and assisting with retail-related duties when needed. The goal is to make sure every guest leaves happy and every order is correct.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone
• Take accurate takeout orders and enter them into the POS system
• Package food carefully, ensuring order accuracy and proper presentation
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Assist customers with retail purchases and provide product information when needed
• Promote and recommend retail products based on customer needs
• Maintain attractive, clean, and well-stocked retail displays
• Restock merchandise and supplies as needed
• Keep the carry-out and retail areas clean, organized, and presentable
• Manage multiple orders and customer requests during busy periods while remaining calm and efficient
• Communicate effectively with restaurant and retail team members to provide a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company guidelines at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Friendly and positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders, payments, and merchandise
• Ability to learn and use a POS system
• Ability to assist customers with retail products and make appropriate recommendations
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexible scheduling, including evening, weekends, and holidays
