About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have state license Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Description: Position involves providing care on a medical/surgical unit. Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients, ages 18 to 125. Patient ratios are typically 5:1 to 6:1. Equipment utilized includes telemetry monitors, IV pumps, bladder scanners, and electronic health records. Preference is given to candidates with experience on a medical/surgical unit. Dress code includes galaxy blue scrubs, with navy also acceptable. Fingernails should be clean and not excessive in length. Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered. Excessive jewelry is not permitted. Attendance requirements must be met to maintain contracted hours. Failure to meet attendance or conduct standards may result in termination. Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
