DIRECTOR OF FINANCE Job Objectives: The primary purpose or objective of this position is to assist the superintendent in the planning, coordination, and supervision of the district's finance office so as to enhance the morale of school district's personnel, and to promote the overall efficiency of the school system maximizing the educational opportunities available to each student. Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, license, certification and/or abilities required. 6. Proficiency in Oklahoma Cost Accounting System (OCAS) preferred

Salary: Based on experience, degree, and/or certification
Skills and Abilities Required: Hold a minimum of a Master's degree and a valid Oklahoma School Administrator's certification. Supervisory Responsibility: Applicants or persons employed in this position have a responsibility to supervise the following positions, tasks, or personnel: Supervises all certified and support employees assigned to the Finance Office.

Degrees/ Certificates:

- Description: May include any or all of the following components of District Business Finance based on experience.
1. Oversee with all functions of the Business Finance Office to include the Purchasing and Accounts Payable.
2. Oversee with Business Finance Office operations including all expenditures, revenue, and balances.
3. Responsible for the management of the district Financial Accounting System (FAS) to include the management of all fiscal years, dimensions, account codes and host-accounts.
4. Oversee district users with the implementation of WENGAGE/Report Manager and provide access to information for administrators, departments, principals and secretaries.
5. Oversee and monitor all financial secretaries in balancing of school budgets.
6. Oversee with the internal auditing of school accounts.
7. Oversee with the staff development of training of the financial support staff of the District.
8. Oversee with the preparation and submission of the District's 1099's.
9. Oversee with the encumbering, monitoring, forecasting, and paying of the district level expenditures to include utilities, gasoline, district memberships and district maintenance agreements.
10. Oversee with all state and federal claims for the district.
11. Oversee with the implementation of the Policies and Procedures for the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Fixed Asset Departments.
12. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the CFO/Assistant Superintendent.
