Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a busy insurance office in Pasadena. The ideal candidate will have previous insurance industry experience, strong communication and computer skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and computer systems throughout the day.The successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with customers, answering questions, handling requests, navigating insurance systems, and providing professional support in a fast-paced office environment.Insurance experience is required. An active insurance license is a PLUS!ResponsibilitiesProvide professional and courteous customer service to clients and assist with insurance-related questions and requests.Communicate effectively with customers by phone, email, and in person.Navigate multiple insurance-related computer systems and platforms throughout the day.Enter, update, and maintain accurate customer information and documentation.Assist customers with policy-related questions, requests, and follow-up.Learn and utilize various insurance systems, software, and CRM platforms.Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed.Handle difficult or frustrated customers calmly and professionally.Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced office environment.Follow up on customer requests and ensure issues are addressed appropriately.Work closely with team members to support daily insurance office operations.QualificationsPrevious insurance industry experience is required.Active insurance license is a PLUS!Customer service or office experience preferred.Strong computer skills and ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Professional, dependable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment.Comfortable working with customers in potentially stressful situations.Strong emotional resilience and professionalism.Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling difficult customer interactions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on insurance experience, is reliable, professional, computer-savvy, and comfortable working directly with the public.
