As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Painter is to contribute to the aesthetic appeal and maintenance of the hotel by applying preparatory materials, paints, and stains to various surfaces. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper preparation of surfaces before painting, which may involve cleaning, sanding, priming, and applying the appropriate coats of paint or stain to achieve the desired finish and appearance. This role will follow a preventive maintenance schedule to conduct regular inspections, identifying areas that require touch-ups or repainting, and addressing them in a timely manner to uphold the overall quality and aesthetics of the hotel.

1. Monitor the inventory of paint supplies and equipment, ensuring an ample stock is available for upcoming projects.
2. Collaborate with the team to develop efficient painting schedules that minimize disruption to guests and daily operations.
3. Skillfully mask and protect adjacent areas before starting painting work, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
4. Thoroughly prepare and apply paint to furniture using appropriate techniques, delivering a flawless and professional finish.
5. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines when storing paint, chemicals, and painting equipment, ensuring a safe working environment.
6. Conduct regular and meticulous inspections of painted surfaces, promptly addressing any touch-ups or maintenance needs to maintain a polished appearance.
7. Foster effective communication and teamwork with maintenance and housekeeping staff, collectively ensuring the hotel's interiors and exteriors are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
8. Offer valuable assistance in various maintenance tasks and projects as needed, displaying flexibility and a helpful attitude to support the overall functioning of the hotel.
9. Keep up-to-date records of all painting activities, including project details, paint colors, and material usage for future reference and tracking.
