Low Voltage Helper

*Overview* TEKsystems is hiring a Telecommunications Technician to support projects in the Greater Nashville Area. This specific opportunity is help in Gallatin, TN. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience with the potential to move into a full-time role.
*What You'll Do*
* Install, maintain, and repair telecom systems and equipment
* Run and work with *Cat6 cabling*
* Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues
* Set up and configure telecom devices (routers, switches, etc.)
* Provide basic technical support to users
* Keep track of equipment and work completed
* Follow safety guidelines and industry standards
* Work with team members to complete projects efficiently
*What We're Looking For*
* High school diploma or equivalent (certifications are a plus)
* Interest or experience in telecommunications or IT
* Basic knowledge of:
* Cabling (Cat6 preferred)
* Routers, switches, and networking basics
* VoIP or phone systems (nice to have, not required)

* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Punctual and detail-oriented
* Good communication skills

This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
