Electrical Installation Supervisor/Manager

Immediate project opportunity for an experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor or Electrical Installation Manager supporting a large-scale industrial assembly plant project in Louisiana.

Per diem, flights, and car rentals are covered for qualified traveling candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of electrical installation work across the assigned project area.
• Manage daily activities for electrical crews, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and installation priorities.
• Monitor progress against the construction schedule and address delays, conflicts, and field issues.
• Supervise installation activities involving industrial electrical systems , conduit, cable tray, wiring, terminations, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Conduct field inspections and verify installation quality, productivity, and completion status.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Maintain clear communication regarding schedule updates, staffing needs, project risks, and jobsite priorities.
• Enforce jobsite safety requirements and support compliance with established EHS , OSHA , and electrical safety procedures.
• Support short-term planning, look-ahead scheduling, and project coordination meetings.
• Resolve electrical installation challenges and provide practical field leadership to keep work moving.
• Track crew performance, subcontractor progress, and project deliverables.
• Assist with punch-list completion, testing coordination, turnover activities, and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in electrical installation management , electrical supervision, or industrial construction leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing electrical crews and subcontractors on large commercial, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction , field installation methods, project sequencing, and jobsite coordination.
• Experience with scheduling, manpower planning, material coordination, and progress tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Willingness to travel or temporarily relocate to Louisiana for the project assignment.
• Ability to begin work promptly for an immediate project need.
• Previous experience on an assembly plant, manufacturing facility, automotive facility, or similarly complex industrial project is preferred.
• Electrical trade certification, journeyman license, master electrician license, or relevant construction management credentials are preferred but not required unless mandated by the project.
