RN Operating Room

WCS Healthcare is partnering with a premier Ambulatory Surgery Center in Exton, Pennsylvania to recruit an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OR nurse seeking a consistent weekday schedule, no weekends, and the chance to work in a collaborative outpatient surgical environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Full-time
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and instrumentation.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control standards.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center or outpatient surgical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
