Director of Health and Wellness

Job Overview We are looking for individuals who can embrace our mission to purposely brighten and enrich the lives of those we serve with HEART (Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect, Teamwork). This Director of Health and Wellness will direct staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage the clinical budget for our Assisted Living residents. Salary Range: $96k-$99k Responsibilities Directly oversee delivery of care to Assisted Living residents to meet emotional, physical, psychological, and safety needs. Coordinate care conferences with the Executive Director and serve as liaison between residents, families, and staff. Manage labor costs, supplies, and other line items in the clinical budget. Monitor documentation systems to ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes and resident needs; write and review assessments, evaluations, and care plans. Assess potential residents for Assisted Living level of care, conduct orientations, and drive to assessments as needed. Plan, schedule, and monitor staff training programs and in-services for Assisted Living staff, including statutory training. Manage and coordinate nursing and other staff, including monthly and daily scheduling. Maintain a safe working environment by preventing accidents and preserving equipment. Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements, including mandatory reporting and incident follow-up. Assist or perform mock surveys. Maintain a positive professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers while adhering to policies. Provide 24/7 on-call clinical support. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Managed a clinical team in a senior living or hospital setting. LPN, LVN, or RN license required. Maintain CEUs and other state requirements for the position. Ability to manage multiple high-level tasks such as scheduling staff and care conferences. Manage and develop complex teams. Experience with EMR/EHR clinical documentation systems. Exude energy, passion, and a hospitality-focused mindset. Passion for serving seniors and growing teams. Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers. Technology savvy and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Organized self-awareness and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
