This travel opportunity in Lake Butler, FL, offers a dynamic role blending sterile compounding expertise with clinical pharmacy services and regulatory compliance. The position supports infusion pharmacy patients within a fast-paced healthcare environment, emphasizing leadership and collaboration.

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday
• 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders accurately.
• Perform and oversee sterile compounding in strict adherence to USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
• Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations to ensure safety and quality.
• Review medication profiles for safety concerns, including allergies, interactions, dosing parameters, and compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff, fostering professional development.
• Maintain cleanroom integrity, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring protocols.
• Participate actively in quality assurance initiatives, medication safety programs, audits, and continuous process improvements.
• Manage compounding records, batch documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in inventory management, including controlled substances and general pharmacy operations.
• Support the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and staff training.
• Engage in staff meetings and professional conferences to stay current in the field.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding, compliant with USP <797> , USP <800> , DEA, OSHA, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
