Receptionist

Ray Dennison Chevrolet is a family owned and operated dealership that has been servicing the Central Illinois Area for over 50 years! We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual for our reception counter. We are looking for an individual that is personable and can communicate well with customers and employees alike. This person is often first contact for customers walking in as well as calling the dealership.  The ideal candidate will be eager to help others, while being able to complete various tasks from the desk.

Duties would include, but are not limited to:

• Greet/welcome customers, vendors, and manufacturer personnel
• Answering phones and dispatching calls accordingly
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Helping with various office staff duties as assigned
• Following up on messages to all departments and employees
• Processing payments
• Closing invoices in our DMS system (computer system)
• Signing for packages or deliveries
• Provide directions to the dealership and inside of the dealership
• Comply with all regulations regarding customer information and security
• Comply with all Ray Dennison rules and regulations
• Maintain a professional appearance  
• Ability to work under pressure
• Rotational Saturday schedule

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid US Drivers License
• Strong phone communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic computer/technology proficiency (Word/Excel or counterparts, emails, typing, etc)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Previous office or reception type work preferred, but not required
