Client Relationship Consultant 1 (Banker) - Bishop, CA

Overview Client Relationship Consultant – U.S. Bank – building relationships with customers through in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels to provide best counsel with a digital‑first mindset. Responsibilities Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and education on available deposit and loan products and services. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, gathering and processing account information and making suitable product recommendations. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications. Provide a consistent optimal client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions. Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, digital services, and training partners to best serve clients. Leverage resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one to two years of retail banking or related experience. National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Background checks, including criminal and credit history, consistent with NMLS requirements. Preferred Skills & Experience Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships. Effective engagement and communication skills. Basic knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems. Customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Proactive and reactive recommendation skills that meet customers’ needs.
