Supervisor IS

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Supervisor Industrial Services (Supervisor IS) to lead and oversee daily operations of service line crew(s) at a customer location. The Supervisor IS will plan, organize, coordinate crew activities, enforce company policies, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain accurate documentation. Schedule jobs and crews; dispatch crews based on calls received during nights and weekends. Act as Operations Manager or Branch Manager when requested. Read work orders and ensure all required equipment is available and operational prior to job start. Inspect equipment and work area, correct deficiencies and ensure compliance with client and safety requirements. Inform clients of job status and requirements. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment. Complete all paperwork, including service receipts, and submit to designated management. Train technicians and operators on equipment operation, service line processes, and paperwork. Operate all necessary equipment in the service line (chemical, hydro‑blasting, painting, blasting, and vacuum) following safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated people‑management skills. Strong knowledge of equipment used in service lines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel); Microsoft Access a plus. Experience with Win Web (HPC Software). Attention to detail and strong organization. Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience preferred. CDL, forklift, and backhoe certifications for plant operations. Ability to calculate load weights for manifest completion. Issue manifests correctly per waste stream, transporter, TSDF, and PO. Maintain filing system for issued and returned manifests. Assist drivers with Win Web ticket entries as necessary. Schedule pit loads at TSDF(s) and coordinate roll‑off logistics. Conduct weekly inspections and coordinate water and oil removal with the vacuum truck supervisor. Valid driver’s license and knowledge of company driving policy. OSHA certification may be required. Knowledge of emergency equipment operation (e.g., fire extinguishers). RCRA certificates. Possession of Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
