Job Title

Operating Room Tech / Surgical Tech (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 36 hours per week, four 9-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM); on-call required on weeknights and weekends (one weekend every 6–7 weeks and one weeknight call per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in the operating room to support surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating the needs of the surgeon
• Participate in required on-call shifts, including weeknight and weekend call rotations
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and sterile technique protocols throughout surgical cases

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or equivalent Operating Room Tech (ORT) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in scrub and/or circulating roles across surgical specialties
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations on weeknights and weekends as scheduled
• Compliance with all travel contract requirements including credentialing and health documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical tech or OR tech role
• Experience working in a community or critical access hospital environment
