Gillmann Services is currently recruiting for a Journeyman Boilermaker / HVAC Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining boilers, and related equipment within industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with boiler systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and HVAC Mechanic experience.
MUST HAVE CURRENT KENTUCKY JOURNEYMAN LICENSE
$50.00 Hourly with a $100 dollars a day Per Diem - 5 -10 hour shifts
Duties
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings to guide fabrication and installation processes.
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain boilers, pressure vessels, and associated piping systems in compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct inspections of boiler systems to identify potential issues related to hydraulics, HVAC/R components, or mechanical failures.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex mechanical systems using specialized tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with field service teams to execute maintenance tasks efficiently across multiple sites.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for industrial boiler systems to optimize operational uptime.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system status and maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Boilermaker with a strong background in industrial mechanic work.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical components used in boiler applications.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance procedures including troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations relevant to boiler installation and repair.
- Strong field service skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
