Front Desk Associate (Full Time) Presbyterian Rust Surgery Center is hiring a Front Desk Associate. The role involves interfacing with visitors, patients, family members and physicians on the phone and in person. Job Summary Interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person. Provide essential clerical support and ensure efficient operations of the outpatient surgery center. Responsibilities Operate the telephone system, including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, and identifying the nature of each call. Perform clerical duties such as distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining the postage meter. Assist with chart preparation and admission processes. Check in pre‑op patients, copy identification and insurance information, and communicate with Pre‑Op nursing staff. Collect patient responsibility as determined by the Insurance Verifier. Provide relief to Admitting, Office Assistant, and Scheduling staff as required. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. One year of previous experience or hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred. Ability to operate required office equipment. Typing speed of 45 words per minute or higher. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience beneficial. Bilingual language skills preferred. Strong communication skills.
