About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; previous travel experience preferred. License: Current RN License required. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP; AWHONN Intermediate. Must-Have: - 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience - NRP, AHA BLS, ACLS certifications - Ability to float within the Women and Infant unit Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The role requires rotating shifts with weekend coverage as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of Labor and Delivery experience. Previous travel experience is preferred. Weekend requirements are determined by unit needs. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients in the Women and Infant unit. Familiarity with Epic charting is preferred. Patient ratios are typically 1 nurse to 2 patients during day and night shifts. The position may require floating within the Women and Infant unit as needed. Candidates must possess specific certifications including ACLS and NRP. The nurse will participate in patient education and support during labor and delivery. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. This position involves direct patient care in a high-acuity environment. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
