Financial Controller

Youth & Family Services, Inc. is hiring a Financial Controller to serve as a member of our Finance Team. The Financial Controller ensures effective financial planning, management, and reporting. This position will work with program staff and agency leadership to facilitate financial management and stewardship of agency resources. This position will reconcile general ledgers, bank accounts, credit card statements, balance sheet, process Accounts receivables, and provide backup for Accounts Payables and Payroll administration. Applicant must have extensive experience in full-charge and cost accounting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, master’s degree preferred. Experience & Skills Needed A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-charge and cost accounting is required. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices and techniques, including business and public administration; understanding managerial functions and office procedures; strong command of Business English and mathematics; excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement; Strong organizational skills and the ability to present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, program staff, and external stakeholders. High proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excell skills required. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, Masters preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
