Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Therapist/ Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. Full-time and part-time positions available. The ideal candidate would bring a strong foundation in clinical counselling, psychological assessment, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, along with experience in private practice.

This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse client population through both in-person and telehealth services. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a collaborative mindset and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct interviews and gather information to assess and diagnose a client's mental health condition.
• Evaluations: Specialized focus on administering and interpreting diagnostic evaluations, including ADHD, Personality Disorders, and behavioral assessments for adolescents and adults
• Treatment Planning : Conduct comprehensive client assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Therapy : Provide individual, couples, and family counselling sessions, focusing on therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Progress Monitoring : Track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and documenting treatment.
• Business Development : May be asked to contribute to marketing the practice and network with other professionals through company-sponsored events or online marketing strategies/outreach, while building a consistent caseload or stronger referral network.
• Supervision : Potentially supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices and client care protocols.
• Referral : Making referrals to other professionals or resources when appropriate, such as psychiatrists for medication management or specialized treatment centers, and continuance of care.
• HIPAA Compliance : Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Professional Development : Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in psychotherapy/ psychology to enhance treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• Education : Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.), Master of Social Work, M. Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution. Applicants must have completed a doctoral/master's degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program with specialized training in Clinical Psychology/ Psychotherapy/ Counseling, as well as an internship (APA-accredited) and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship training in Clinical Psychology or Private Practice.
• Licensing : Eligible candidates must be license-eligible in the State of Illinois and ABPP Board certified or eligible in Clinical Psychology/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
• Expertise in assessing and diagnosing a client's mental health and psychopathologies through evaluation tests to understand personality traits, cognitive abilities, and emotional functioning for diagnosis and treatment guidance.
• Preferred experience includes customizing care in a private practice  setting  and demonstrating skills in providing therapy for individuals, couples, students, professionals, and families, as well as client assessment and other mental health needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and rapport-building skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations using various methods such as CBT, DBT, Family Therapy, Trauma Therapy, and Couples Therapy (Gottman Methods).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive and positive clinical environment.
• Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to providing compassionate client care while adhering to ethical guidelines in the field of psychology/psychotherapy.
• Hybrid Schedule: Able to commute to the office for at least 4 days on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and work via Telehealth on Monday and Friday while building a full caseload.
