Description

American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and RDMS certifications for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level II Trauma facility.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center
• Ultrasound/Sonography unit
• Rotating day shift schedule on a two-week rotation: Week 1 – Wednesday & Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Week 2 – Sunday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday & Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• 9-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• RDMS – Abdomen (RDMS-AB) via ARDMS required
• RDMS – OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 12 months prior to their application date
• Orientation consists of 12 hours upon start
