You'll work closely with our production team to operate, maintain, and fine-tune CNC laser cutting equipment, ensuring parts meet strict specifications and standards.What You'll Do As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for:Setting up, loading, and adjusting CNC plasma and oxy-fuel burning machines to ensure optimal performance.Operating laser cutting machines to produce accurately shaped metal parts with tight tolerances.Selecting cutting parameters, materials, and speeds based on job specifications to maximize productivity and quality.Making real-time machine adjustments and program modifications to improve process consistency and output quality.Communicating with the CNC Programmer to provide feedback and suggest process improvements.Marking finished products with relevant job order and routing information for proper tracking.Handling materials manually or with overhead cranes and forklifts, following safety guidelines.Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all shop protocols.What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:At least three months of CNC operation or burning experience (preferred but not required).Strong skills in reading shop drawings, measurements, and performing basic math calculations.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload materials onto cutting equipment safely and efficiently.Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, and shop machinery.A reliable, detail-oriented attitude and excellent work ethic.Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures consistently.Why Join Us in Eugene?Temp-to-hire position with potential for long-term career growth.Gain valuable experience in a leading manufacturing facility specializing in high-quality metal fabrication.Enjoy a supportive team culture that encourages learning and skill development.Ask us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cash!Location & Schedule: This is an on-site position in Eugene, Oregon.
