Diesel Mechanic

A manufacturing facility in York, SC is looking for a Field Diesel Technician looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This role will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Thursday. 3-5 years of Diesel Technician experience required! Travel and on-call availability is required as well.

salary: $60,320 - $68,640 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, restoration and repair of Hydra Platform equipment at our location and occasionally at the customer’s location
• Has a Mechanical background with hydraulics
• Has Proficient knowledge of Electrical schematics and diagrams
• Has good Troubleshooting abilities
• Being able to weld and read welding blueprints is a plus

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Diesel Mechanic Experience (4 years of experience is preferred)
• CDL (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Field Service Experience (4 years of experience is preferred)
• Small Engine Repair (4 years of experience is preferred)
