Job Title: Licensed Aesthetician

Job Status: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports to: Susan Omar

The Aesthetician at Rio Medspa is responsible for delivering high-quality, results-driven skincare treatments within a luxury, patient-centered environment. This includes performing a range of services such as facials, chemical peels, and advanced facial treatments (including but not limited to Hydrafacial), while ensuring each treatment is customized to the individual needs and goals of the patient.

This role requires the ability to assess skin conditions, develop tailored treatment plans, and guide patients through a long-term approach to skin health and overall wellness. In addition to technical expertise, the Aesthetician is responsible for educating patients on proper skincare regimens and product usage to support optimal outcomes.

A strong foundation in skincare techniques, safety protocols, and sanitation practices is essential to maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment. Success in this role also requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients while contributing to overall practice growth through service and retail performance.

A current state license is required.

• Consistently deliver an elevated, seamless experience by maintaining punctuality and executing all services within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality
• Perform advanced facial and body treatments in alignment with Rio Medspa’s clinical protocols, safety standards, and level of excellence
• Maintain a sophisticated understanding of all services, treatments, and products, guiding patients toward personalized solutions that align with their goals and longterm outcomes
• Educate patients on customized skincare regimens and treatment plans that support both immediate results and ongoing skin health
• Contribute to overall practice performance through thoughtful, needsbased recommendations of services, treatment plans, and retail products
• Consistently meet or exceed established service and retail benchmarks
• Ensure every patient interaction reflects a hightouch, luxury experience—professional, attentive, and detailoriented at every stage
• Address patient questions and concerns with confidence, care, and a solutionsoriented approach
• Maintain precise, timely, and thorough documentation of all treatments, product usage, and patient interactions within the practice management system
• Uphold the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements and practice protocols
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to impeccable standards, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times
• Support overall clinic flow and efficiency through proactive preparation and attention to detail
• Demonstrate a comprehensive awareness of all services offered within the practice, including medical treatments, and guide patients accordingly to support optimal outcomes
• Operate with a high level of autonomy, professionalism, and accountability while contributing to a refined, collaborative team environment
• Actively participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development to continuously elevate skillset and performance
• Adhere to all established pricing structures and practice standards, maintaining alignment with the brand’s positioning and integrity

Education & Experience:
• Current state Aesthetician license (required)
• 35+ years of experience in a medspa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting preferred
• Proven ability to deliver both exceptional patient outcomes and a highlevel service experience

Performance Expectations:
• Clinical Documentation & Photography
• Maintain consistent and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes and patient interactions
• Submit treatment photography in alignment with practice standards (minimum monthly requirements)
• Communicate proactively with management if submission timelines cannot be met
• Ensure all required sameday documentation (including injectable or advanced treatments, where applicable) is completed accurately
Inventory & Product Accountability:
• Maintain awareness of inventory levels and communicate any shortages or concerns in a timely manner
• Accurately complete all required logs and documentation related to product usage and inventory tracking
• Utilize products and supplies in accordance with established protocols to support cost control and consistency
• Ensure all consumables are documented appropriately for accurate billing and operational tracking
Scheduling & Efficiency:
• Support continuity of care while maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of the practice and patients
• Communicate proactively regarding scheduling needs, including adjustments to service timing when appropriate
• Contribute to overall schedule optimization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and patient access
• Submit timeoff requests in advance in accordance with practice policies and support coverage planning when needed
Treatment Planning & Clinical Judgment:
• Utilize a comprehensive, resultsdriven approach to treatment planning, incorporating appropriate modalities when beneficial
• Prioritize patient outcomes and longterm results through thoughtful, customized recommendations
• Maintain a high level of clinical integrity in all treatment decisions
Continuing Education & Development:
• Participate in ongoing inhouse training and education to maintain clinical excellence
• Attend external training opportunities as required or approved
• Share key learnings and insights to support overall team growth and development
Treatment Room & Clinical Standards:
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and prepared for each use in accordance with OSHA and practice standards
• Consistently uphold a polished, professional clinical environment
