Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Contract Position)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Nights), rotating weekends; no call requirement.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. This role requires expertise in fetal monitoring and the ability to handle a variety of patient situations effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Utilize equipment such as Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US for monitoring.
• Conduct assessments and render appropriate interventions following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the delivery process.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification preferred.
• Two or more years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery required.
• Experience with C-Section circulation and EFM.
