Registered Nurse – PerioperativeShift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Days: M - F (rotating day off depending on schedule) Start time: Between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM (varies slightly based on case volume)Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40.00Requirements:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practiceBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificationAt least two years of recent nursing experienceEndoscopy experience requiredExperience in outpatient surgery and perioperative care strongly preferredFamiliarity with pre-op and PACU phase II workflowsExperience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover is a plusRoles & Responsibilities:Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients based on established standards of care and nursing process.Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.Conduct assessments, analyze data, and determine diagnosis and care issues for patients.Implement nursing care plans, coordinating care delivery, and applying strategies to promote health and ensure a safe environment.Evaluate progress toward achieving patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide care in a safe and supportive environment.Provide educational resources and guidance to patients, families, and treatment team members.Compliance / Notes:All associates are required to receive all necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
