Key responsibilities of the RN Operating Room include:

• Provide specialized preoperative care with an emphasis on patient safety and surgical protocols
• Manage a variety of cases, including same-day and overnight stays
• Utilize IV skills and surgical care knowledge effectively
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within the Sunrise EMR system and transition to EPIC
• Participate in the on-call schedule and weekend rotations

Requirements of the RN Operating Room include:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Proven IV skills and surgical care knowledge
• Experience with Sunrise EMR; EPIC experience is an advantage
