What You'll Do Greet patients warmly and initiate the registration process, ensuring a positive first impression. Accurately collect and record payments at the point-of-service delivery, maintaining secure handling protocols. Develop a strong understanding of various health insurance coverage options, related processes, and procedures. Address routine patient inquiries and concerns, performing service recovery as needed to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with various staff members, medical professionals, and patients through telephone, email, and in-person communication regarding registration and admitting services. Process all necessary admission and registration paperwork, obtaining required documents for billing and compliance. Meet individual productivity and key performance indicators as set by department leadership. Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals encountered throughout the day. Escalate complex registration issues or advanced patient concerns to more experienced team members. What You'll Bring (Must-Have Qualifications) High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at a level appropriate for the job. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels. Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to the functional area. Foundational knowledge of medical terminology and various insurance types, including government and commercial plans. What Will Set You Apart (Nice-to-Have Qualifications) Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish). Important Application Details Be authorized to work in the United States. Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment. Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position. Have flexibility with schedule.
