Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized care for patients in a mixed acuity unit, primarily focusing on cardiovascular and open-heart recovery patients. The position demands a skilled professional capable of managing high-acuity cases within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Indiana or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular intensive care unit setting, open-heart recovery experience preferred/desired, current Indiana or compact RN license, candidate must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating to similar units or down to progressive units as needed. Orientation scheduled for Monday-Wednesday of the first week with mandatory attendance on all three days. Equipment used includes EPIC charting and Pyxis. The nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:1 or 1:2 on ICU side to 1:3 or 1:4 on step-down side. Dress code is scrubs in Caribbean Blue.
