The practice is seeking a hygienist with excellent periodontal charting and disease-management skills who can help strengthen its hygiene program. The ideal candidate is thorough, dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a busy, outcome-oriented environment. Schedule Tuesday or Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Team members arrive approximately 10 minutes before the first patient Compensation Up to $65 per hour, based on experience Potential bonus opportunities Established for approximately 20 years Two-provider private practice Supportive team of approximately five staff members PPO, HMO, and fee-for-service patient base Results-driven and outcome-oriented environment Responsibilities Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis Provide periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing Complete thorough and accurate periodontal charting Identify periodontal disease and clearly communicate clinical findings Educate patients about periodontal health and recommended treatment Perform two-quadrant SRP appointments within the practice’s established scheduling protocols Administer local anesthesia within the hygienist’s licensed scope Provide anesthesia for the doctor’s patients when needed Apply fluoride and dental sealants Place Arestin and perform irrigation as prescribed Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs, including bitewings, panoramic images, and full-mouth series Establish appropriate three-, four-, or six-month recall intervals Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Collaborate with providers regarding patient treatment and periodontal needs Provide excellent chairside care and help patients feel comfortable Follow OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection-control standards Software and Technology Practice by Numbers Denttio imaging software Requirements Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license Current CPR/BLS certification Local anesthesia certification Strong periodontal charting and clinical assessment skills Experience providing SRP and periodontal maintenance Dentrix experience preferred Excellent communication and patient-education skills Comfortable working within an assisted-hygiene model Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused Ability to maintain quality care in a fast-paced environment Bonus Structure A-Team Dental Staffing LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Team Dental Staffing LLC
