Use your strong software engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM!Support the EGSE Organization as a software engineer.You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability. You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology. Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to support needs.To be effective in this role, you will need:Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C#/C++, LabView, Python, TestStand+3 years of professional experience for this role.You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship The information below reflects the standard job description for this position Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.Basic Qualifications Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C#/C++, LabView, Python, TestStand Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment) and HARDWARE/SOFTWARE Integration efforts on Test Equipment Issue Tracking and troubleshooting experience US Citizenship required: Secret Clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearanceDesired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined educationExperience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration managementSystems thinking mindsetTest Equipment familiarity and integrationExperience with Agile and DevOps processes and cultureExperience with Jira or other Atlassian tool setsMust be able to work autonomously and drive items to closurePossess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skillsExperience working on project teams and development effortsExperience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software designPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
