The In-House Agency RN Program offers PRN employment for 13-week intervals in the Perinatal and/or Labor & Delivery inpatient units. Participants are required to work 36 hours/week for 13 weeks and will be paid a competitive hourly rate plus weekend differentials.

To qualify, applicants must have a valid RN license issued by the State of Arkansas and 12 months experience in an acute care hospital. Experience in the past 12 months must include 6 months in a direct patient care role in an acute care hospital. Applicants cannot be currently employed by UAMS, and previous UAMS employees must have terminated more than 180 days prior.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the UAMS Perinatal (E6) and/or Labor & Delivery (E5) units, located in the Harry P. Ward Clinical Tower. These units deliver comprehensive, high-risk obstetrical care to patients from across the state.
