About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Ambulatory Services, a pivotal role that demands a visionary and transformational nursing executive. The CNO will be responsible for the strategic, clinical, and operational leadership of ambulatory nursing services, with a focus on shaping the future of outpatient care, advancing nursing excellence, and driving system-wide initiatives to enhance quality, patient experience, workforce engagement, and operational performance. This executive will lead the strategic direction of ambulatory nursing services, ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, and support organizational growth and innovation. Key responsibilities include driving clinical quality, patient safety, and operational performance, as well as overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, and development. The successful candidate for the CNO position at the company will have a current Georgia RN license, a Master's degree, and a minimum of 7-10 years of nursing leadership experience. They must have a proven track record in leading nursing operations, strategic planning, budget management, and performance improvement. The role requires a leader with a strong background in evidence-based practice, innovation, and professional nursing excellence, and who is adept at fostering partnerships with physicians, operational leaders, and nursing teams. While not mandatory, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing, as well as experience in ambulatory or outpatient leadership and Magnet-designated organization, are preferred qualifications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, relationship-focused leader, capable of inspiring teams and driving transformational change in a complex healthcare environment.
