Bombers Mods & Upgrades Weapons Program Manager Company: The Boeing Company – Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% onsite) Overview We are seeking a multifaceted Program Manager to lead the Bombers Mods & Upgrades Weapons Program. The role reports to the Bombers Mods & Upgrades Senior Program Manager and is responsible for establishing and leading a cross‑disciplinary team to execute weapons integration activities for our Air Force customers, including B‑1, B‑52H, B‑2, and Air Launch Cruise Missile (ALCM) platforms. Key Responsibilities Manage, develop, and motivate employees in program management activities. Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies. Acquire resources, manage technical aspects of suppliers, and lead process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Utilize Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to develop execution strategies that are effective, efficient, and of the highest quality. Discover new opportunities and solutions through innovative thinking to improve performance and synergy across functions. Identify and manage Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO); coordinate tracking and status to ensure timely delivery of official responses and deliverables. Lead management of program budgets and estimates, including complete (EAC) cost planning. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to confidently perform and communicate across multiple engineering, logistics, and product support functions. 5+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams. 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. 5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools. Experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Experience working with B‑1, B‑52, B‑2, ALCM or other military aircraft platforms. Experience navigating the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (EGSP). Experience working directly with customers, focusing on military customers. Understanding and application of RIO management and use of the Boeing Opportunity Risk and Issue System (BORIS). Experience working with support functions such as Engineering, Supplier Management, Finance, Integrated Scheduling, and Contracts. Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate data in senior leadership briefings. Basic Earned Value Management (EVM) training and awareness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Boeing tools including Interactive Reporting Environment (IRE), Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO), CAPRS, and CSDT. Certifications in PMP, Six Sigma, Scaled Agile SM/RTE or equivalent. Active Secret Clearance preferred. Security Clearance Must obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance required post‑start. Travel & Shift Travel: 10-20% of the time. Shift: 1st Shift. Relocation Offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Compensation Summary pay range: $156,400 – $211,600.
