Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technician to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PETCT scans with varying start and end times, ensuring timely and accurate imaging.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, specifically Siemens, ensuring optimal performance.
• Ensure radiation safety by wearing a provided radiation badge and following all protocols.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care within a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Manage and administer radiopharmaceutical doses under appropriate guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to uphold high standards in imaging services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
• Certification in BLS and NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.
• SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography required.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Ability to work possibly on Saturdays for backlog management, as needed.
