Distribution Associate / Standup Forklift (1st Shift)

We are hiring a Distribution Associate. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, shipping/receiving experience with Standup Forklift Operation. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets.

PAY RATE: 19.50 hour

LOCATION: DFW Airport, TX 75261

SHIFT: 5:00am to 1:30pm OT as needed.

DUTIES:

• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Drug Test
• Background Check
• Standup Forklift experience - Required
• Forklift Certification - Preferred
• RF Scanner
• Shipping & Receiving

ABILITIES:

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
