The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Vinyl/Sign Installer who wants more than just a job—someone who wants to master a craft, own their projects, and grow with a company that values quality and personal service.

This isn’t a corporate gig where you’re installer #47 following a script. You’ll work directly with our owners (who have 25+ years of experience), handle diverse projects from start to finish, and build skills that set you apart in the industry.

What You’ll Do

· Install custom signage – Channel letters, backlit signs, flat aluminum panels, acrylic letters, and more (indoor and outdoor)

· Apply vehicle wraps and graphics – Cars, trucks, vans, trailers—you’ll transform vehicles into mobile billboards

· Install vinyl graphics – Window graphics, wall murals, floor decals, banners, and promotional signage

· Site prep and measurement – Survey installation sites, take accurate measurements, and plan logistics

· Collaborate on projects – Work with our design and production team to ensure flawless execution

· Maintain tools and equipment – Keep your workspace and tools in top shape

· Provide excellent service – Represent Sheet Wise with professionalism and care on every job site

No two days are the same. One day you’re wrapping a delivery van, the next you’re installing storefront signage for a new business. You’ll stay sharp, build diverse skills, and never get bored.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

· 1–3 years of vinyl installation or sign installation experience (or equivalent hands-on experience in a related trade)

· Attention to detail – Bubbles, wrinkles, and misalignment aren’t acceptable. You take pride in clean, professional work.

· Physical capability – Comfortable working on ladders, lifting 50+ lbs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions

· Problem-solving skills – Every job site is different. You adapt, troubleshoot, and figure it out.

· Reliable transportation – You’ll travel to job sites throughout the Illinois Valley

· Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record preferred

Nice-to-Haves:

· Experience with vehicle wraps (we’ll train the right person, but experience is a plus)

· Familiarity with tools like squeegees, heat guns, cutting tools, and measuring equipment

· Basic knowledge of sign materials (vinyl types, substrates, adhesives)

· Trade skills (carpentry, electrical, general construction) that translate to installation work

In 3 months:

· You’re confidently handling standard vinyl installations and assisting on vehicle wraps

· You’re leading vehicle wrap installations and complex sign projects

· You’re troubleshooting on-site challenges independently

· You’re contributing ideas to improve our installation processes

In 1 year:

· You’re our go-to installer for high-stakes projects

· You’re mentoring newer team members

· You’re a key part of our growth and reputation in the Illinois Valley
