Physician (Primary Care)

Job Title
This physician will provide comprehensive primary care services for a panel of 1200 patients utilizing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). The physician will typically work 8-hour shifts but will not work less than 80 hours during a two-week pay period. Eight-hour shifts are from 8 am through 4:30 pm on weekdays. The Physician might also work extended hours on weekdays. Physician reports directly to the Chief of Primary Care.
A summary of the duties is mentioned below but not limited to:
- Performing duties to accomplish treatment of our patients
- Performing exams according to performance measure guidelines
- Documenting notes according to policy/procedure utilizing a Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) in a personal computer
- Screening patients to determine need for further care
- Ordering diagnostic studies, carrying out health promotion and disease prevention activities
- Initialing and expediting requests for consultations
- Scheduling special tests, consults and studies
- Routine & Preventive Women Healthcare
- Tele Health when required
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor.)
