Library Media Specialist for Torrington Middle School (Grades 7-8). Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with #062 (Library Media Specialist) endorsement.
The Library Media Specialist is responsible for teaching classes that promote information literacy, digital citizenship, and a love of reading through engaging, standards-based lessons. They manage the school library's resources, support classroom instruction through collaboration with teachers, and help students develop research and technology skills. INTERNAL TRANSFER REQUESTS: Torrington Public Schools personnel qualified for, certified for, and interested in transferring into, the above must apply by midnight, July 14, 2026.
